School Events
The Student Leadership Academy plans a wide range of events and learning opportunities for Fossil Ridge High School. While Students within the Academy will engage in a world class leadership curriculum, each group is tasked with helping grow the spirit, culture and climate at Fossil Ridge. See below for the events, projects and activities that each group is in charge of facilitating.

RIDGE Leadership
- School event created, designed and planned by the Leadership foundations cohort during class.
Ambassadors
- Peer Education surrounding sexual assault/rape, mental health, suicide prevention, harassments prevention, and teen dating violence prevention.
- Welcoming new students to Fossil Ridge.
- Mentors to Fossil Ridge High School students, as well as to elementary aged students at local elementary schools.
Leadership by Design - Social Change and Media
- People's Choice Awards (end of year celebration for the whole school), Unity Day, Make a Wish Week
- Students will choose organizations and issues they want to work with (within and/or beyond FRHS)
- Freshman Orientation at the beginning of the academic school year.
- Mentorship of Freshman students throughout their first year at Fossil.
RIDGE Leadership
- Color Dance, Homecoming Week, Trick or Treat Street, Student Body Retreat, Staff Appreciation, Adopt a Family, Day to Be, No Place for Hate, Give Next, Fossil's Got Talent, Middle School Leadership and Assemblies.
