Our Story
The Student Leadership Academy was born from a passion to increase opportunities for students to expand, grow and identify their leadership skills. Through all course offerings in the Academy, students explore their WHY and the true aspects of what it means to be a Servant Leader. Through this exploration, students play an active role in serving the community and increasing the spirit, culture and climate at Fossil Ridge. All of this is achieved through a lens of diversity, inclusivity and equity.

Through this Academy students will be well prepared to enter the world as global citizens carrying knowledge in adaptability, communication, acceptance of others, and confidence to fulfill their passions. Moreover, the Student Leadership Academy was born to facilitate a family and collaborative atmosphere between all groups and organizations at Fossil Ridge. It is with this purpose the SLA works to harness the passions of both the Staff and Students within the Academy.
